White Light

Straight out of the news, this thriller deals with an attempt to destroy glasnost. On both sides of the Iron Curtain, there are people who plot to destroy this recent effort to open up Soviet society. In Russia, the old guard detests the sudden freedoms; in Washington, powerful groups fear that a revitalized Russia would be a serious threat to America.
