Berry Morgan's older sister, Laura, always got along best with their father, even after he moved out. Their shared interest in politics and world events kept Berry on the outside. After college, Laura decides to work as a school volunteer in South Africa - and, in a nightmare straight from the headlines, is brutally murdered.
